Karen Overgaard

Karen Overgaard is a recognized expert in the field of holistic nursing. She is a member of the American Holistic Nurses Association and serves on the Advisory Board for Integrative Touch For Kids. She has more than twenty years clinical nursing experience, including her work with Dr. Rosen as a primary care pediatric nurse. Karen is certified as an instructor in infant massage, yoga, fitness and dance; additionally, she is a Reiki Master. Karen is a graduate of the Institute for Integrative Nutrition (NYC) and coordinated the Kids’ Weigh to Health program at Pascack Valley Hospital. She teaches yoga classes for special-needs children and their families, and she has assisted in teaching creative movement to children with autism in a pilot after-school program.
